Lighthouse description

The Lighthouse sits at the very tip of Wings Neck Point in the town of Pocasset, city of Bourne – approximately one hour from downtown Boston. A private gate makes the property available only to residents and their guests.

Yes. The lighthouse is attached to the home by a breezeway accessed through a door in the family room. The view is great but we ask that you use caution in the light tower

The house was completely renovated in 2003 and is available for weekly rental year round.

Where do you swim?

There is a private sandy beach for residents of Wings Neck Point about 600 feet from the house. There is no life guard on the beach. You can also swim from the rocks directly in front of the house.

Outside

  • Private beach
  • Beach chairs, beach toys
  • Outdoor shower
  • Gas grill
  • Outdoor table/chairs with umbrella
  • Two adult bikes, several children's bikes

    Paradise, utopian and spectacular!

Paradise, utopian and spectacular. You have to be there to believe it. The owner was equally spectacular because I bombarded her with questions and emails about measurements because my sister is in a wheelchair and we had to be sure it could accommodate her. She responded with everything we needed and was very patient with what felt like to me my endless questions.

This deserves more stars than I could give.

    Once-in-a-lifetime experience!

This is a once-in-a-lifetime vacation rental. The keeper's house is terrific, the lighthouse is spectacular and the views are superb, day or night, rain or shine. It's a really special place, pretty far off the touristy roads. You can really appreciate what Cape Cod was like before it became a hot tourist spot, yet it's close enough to all the tourist amenities to serve as your vacation central.

    See to believe! Wow!

Words don’t do justice to this property and host. The host was incredible response and accommodating. Not only was the reservation process seamless, the host also sent us tons of local information which can in incredibly handy. Thank you, Christina!! What can we say about the property?! Amazing, astounding, breath taking. Absolutely one of the most incredible places we have had the privilege of staying. Literally right on the water (it is a lighthouse after all), with ocean views from everywhere in the house. We literally watched the most amazing sunset while sitting comfortably in the family room!! Amazing. Cannot recommend this property and host enough. We will always remember this experience.

    Phenomenal Experience!

Where do I begin? This was such a unique and beautiful home. With or without the lighthouse part of the home, this would still be the place to stay. First, you have views from every room in the house with a nice, open layout. The house is beautifully decorated with bits and pieces of the history of the home purposefully sprinkled in. Scott who lives nearby (but gives you your privacy) is very friendly and a wealth of knowledge when giving recommendations of things to do nearby. Christina, the owner is communicative through email and such a lovely person to share her home. We visited for our 30th anniversary and can’t wait to return! Don't forget to sign the guestbook!
