Valonia Cottage

Valonia Cottage is made up of one three bedrooms, one bathroom and a separate toilet and sleeps up to five guests, with a minimum stay of two nights. The cottage is fully equipped with a washing machine and dryer, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, TV, DVD player, gas hob and electric oven, gas effect wood burner, garden furniture, and a payphone. Travel cots, high chairs, and a stair gate for children are available and there is garden furniture to use outside.

There is a walled garden with sea views and onsite parking. The lighthouse is an active automated lighthouse, but there is no fog signal. Unfortunately, no pets are allowed at the lighthouse. 

The lighthouse and its cottages are one mile from Cromer, which is a ten-minute stroll along the beach or coastal path. Cromer has many pubs, shops, and seafood restaurants and is well known for Cromer crab sandwiches. It has a long sandy beach with colourful beach huts making it a very popular holiday destination. There is a pier with a theatre and café and tourists can hire dipping nets and buckets to catch crabs. There is also an excellent seafront restaurant on the pier. The coastal path takes visitors to Overstrand where the White horse restaurant and bar is located. Many activities can be organised through Norfolk Adventure including kayaking, canoeing, rowing, and boat tours.
