The lighthouse Faro Cumplida is with over 153 years the oldest and after the extensive renovation probably the most romantic lighthouse of Spain. Today it is a place where you can feel the history and the power of the ocean and relax in a simple, modern ambience. The mild climate of the Canary Islands, one of the most beautiful infinity pools in the world and the breathtaking view from the 36m high platform make the experience unforgettable.
Lighthouse description
To see the Atlantic waves rolling onto the rocks from the 36 meter high viewing platform is meditation. Toasting a loved one on the terrace in front of one of the 3 stylish suites can feel like a wedding kiss. Here you can feel what has fascinated generations of lighthouse keepers. Nature and civilization meet here. The view from far above sometimes helps to recognize the important things better.
The lighthouse contains 3 suites, which can be rented separately or all together (this listing). All suites feature breathtaking 360-degree sea views. You can have our housekeeper bring you a great breakfast basket (included) into your suite or you can of course take care of yourself. A fully equipped kitchen is available.
A small supermarket and nice restaurants can be reached in 10-15 minutes by car. Or you can let us put typical local specialities in the fridge and prepare them yourself according to a little instruction.
La Palma Suite can accommodate 2 people. It features a fully equipped kitchen, an espresso bar, and a luxurious bathroom with a double shower. Guaranteed the best night's sleep ever in silk bedding by Shuj. The La Palma suite is 55 sqm.
The Atlantic Suite can also sleep 2 people. The suite is similar to the La Palma suite and thus also includes a fully equipped kitchen, an espresso bar, and a luxurious bathroom with double shower. The only difference between the two suites is a size difference of 10 sqm. In fact, the Atlantic suite is 45 sqm.
The Farero Suite can sleep 4 people. The suite is wonderfully spacious with a size of 110 sqm. It has a large fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms with silk bedding and two luxury bathrooms.

How to get there
La Palma can be reached directly from many international airports or via the Madrid and Tenerife hubs. From Germany, EasyJet and Condor fly directly to La Palma in 5.5 hours.
From the airport it is 50 minutes by (rental) car or €50 by taxi.
Faro Cumplida is located below Barlovento in the northwest of La Palma, about 40 km from the airport. Follow the signs "Faro Punta Cumplida".
About the area
Beautiful natural pools between rocks, spectacular hiking trails and mountain bike trails. The relaxed nature of the inhabitants make you forget your everyday life shortly after landing. A short drive through banana plantations leads to the natural pools of La Fajana. A small supermarket and nice restaurants can be reached in 10-15 minutes by car. The best restaurants on the island can be found in Barlovento, above the lighthouse.

we are rebuilding lighthouses into romantic hideaways for 15 years. Faro Punta Cumplida is our first Spanish lighthouse and probably the most unique and beautiful of all.
Many of our guests say that staying at Faro Punta Cumplida was the most exciting and unique experience they ever had. You cannot stay closer to the sea and you can not find a location with more positive energy and history.
We can write a lot about our lighthouse in La Palma, but the best way to find out more about it, is to stay there and be a lighthouse keeper for a night or a week.
