Lighthouse description
Marstein Lighthouse consists of three buildings: the Lighthouse, the lighthouse keeper's residence and the annex.
The lighthouse contains a large living room, a kitchen, a bathroom, various rooms, and of course the tower itself. It has also recently been equipped with a lovely conservatory, perfect for enjoying the view and a cup of coffee!
The lighthouse keeper's accommodation contains a kitchen, a dining room, a lovely fireplace in the common area, a small but densely packed bookcase, 7 bedrooms and two bathrooms.
The annex is the smallest building located between the lighthouse and the lighthouse keeper's residence. It contains 4 bedrooms and one bathroom.
The island has many paths and stairs made of concrete after the Second World War, which are well suited for walks. The lighthouse's helipad is a fantastic place to watch the sunset from, not to mention the lighthouse! The whole place is a lovely place for relaxation and getting closer to nature and culture on the western side of Norway! The lighthouse is also close to a company that offers various coastal experiences such as sea rafting and RIB safaris. A perfect option for those who feel a bit adventurous.
Since the islet is not connected to land, we arrange transport to and from the lighthouse. How many trips can be agreed with the host.

About the area
When you come from the lighthouse to the marina, it's only five minutes to the nearest grocery store, 30 minutes to the nearest shopping center and 45 minutes to Bergen city! The hotel that the marina belongs to has a fantastic restaurant! Exciting dishes with local ingredients! The hotel also has a bar, coffee shop, massage and spa facilities! Just across the road there is a fun farm with lots of exciting animals, fun for young and old!
